BEING REFORMED.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN
TO BE REFORMED?
Our Church Name “Reformed” comes

John
3:16-17; “For God so loved the world
that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not
perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to
condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
Acts 4:12. “
Salvation is found in no else, for there is no other name under heaven given to
men by which we must be saved.”
2 Timothy
3:15-17. “And how from infancy you have
known the Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through
faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is
God-breathed and is useful for teaching rebuking correcting and training in
righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good
work.”
Rom 3:21-28;
“ But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to
which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes
through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for
all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by
his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented him
as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to
demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins
committed beforehand unpunished-- he did it to demonstrate his justice at the
present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith
in Jesus. Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? On that
of observing the law? No, but on that of faith .For we maintain that a man is
justified by faith apart from observing the law.
